Pet Cremation

Upon the passing of your pet, you will be making some decisions about what will happen next. Thankfully the decisions to be made are fairly simple when you know the available choices. Typically you will have two alternatives: cremation of your pet with the cremains returned to you; cremation of your pet without receiving the cremains.  We will make the removal from your veterinarian's office or your home, and will accomodate in any way we can to make the process easy for you. We strive to have your pet back to you within 24 hours of pickup. Urns, Pet Caskets, and Keepsakes are also available. Please call for more information.

Private Cremation – With this selection, your pet alone is placed in the cremation chamber. Upon completion of the cremation, your pet’s cremains are removed from the chamber, processed and returned to you for transferring to the pet urn of your choice.

Communal (Mass) Cremation – With this choice your pet is cremated along with a number of other pets, and the cremains are not returned to the Pet Owner. Still, it is common practice for these cremains to be disposed properly..

Final Decision - Your Veterinarian’s expertise plus a clear understanding of the pet cremation process will give you a welcome degree of control in handling the careful steps along the path of honoring your faithful friend’s passing by contacting us directly at 270-519-7512.  We are now able, through Keepsake Monuments to offer pet monuments, various sizes and styles of pet markers, and pet I.D. tags.  Pet urns are available in many sizes, they can be made of wood, granite or marble and precious metal. The urn can be engraved with your pet's likness, name or even poems, farm scenes or your own art work to make a more personalized memorial.
